Check-in & check-out
To ensure you feel comfortable at Talgut from the very first moment, we would like to prepare your lodge for you in peace and quiet.
Check in between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM
Check out until 10:00
Early arrival or late departure is possible – depending on occupancy – by individual arrangement. Please contact us at least 2 days before arrival to discuss this.
Reception & Accessibility
You will also receive the most important information upon arrival at your lodge and in your guest information folder.
You can reach us in person on site from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Payment terms
After confirmation of the reservation, we will charge a deposit of 20%; the remaining balance is due 4 weeks before arrival.

Well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed in some of the lodges at Talgut and enjoy the Allgäu countryside just as much as their humans. Some of our lodges have fenced gardens – ideal for relaxing breaks with your dog.
Please note that your dog can only travel with you after prior confirmation. If you arrive with your dog without prior notice and have booked a dog-free lodge, we cannot guarantee that an alternative lodge will be available.
Puppies under 8 months old and female dogs in heat cannot be accepted.

Cancellation policy
Sometimes life gets in the way – that's why we work with clear, transparent cancellation policies.
- Free cancellation possible up to 1 month before arrival
- In case of cancellation at a later date, late arrival or early departure, we reserve the right to charge 90% of the total amount.
- Bookings during the Christmas holidays are generally non-refundable.
We strongly recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance, especially for longer stays or health and fasting retreats.
Damage and improper use of the lodge
Our house was furnished with great care and exceptionally high quality.
Should any damage occur at your lodge, please report it immediately. This is less about reprimanding and more about organizing timely repairs. For more significant damage, your liability insurance will be contacted to ensure a smooth process for both parties.
Should we find excessive soiling of the lodge upon your departure (e.g., smoke odor, improperly soiled upholstered furniture due to careless use, etc.), we reserve the right to charge separately for the cleaning costs. Therefore, please leave the lodge in a clean and tidy condition.
